End Polio Events
October 24 is World Polio Day. District 3450 will organize a series of End Polio events. In addition to the End Polio Walk held in Mongolia on September 26, we will hold the End Polio Walk & Run on October 25, 2026, at Hac Sac Reservoir Park, Coloane.
The Hong Kong End Polio Walk will be held on November 29, 2026, at the Peak. Please invite your club members, family, and friends to join.
There are many meaningful souvenirs that you can purchase to support the events. Please do not hesitate to contact us for details.
District Foundation & Grant Management Seminar
The annual District Foundation & Grant Management Seminar will be held on November 7, 2026, at the Regal Hong Kong Hotel. Participation is mandatory if your club would like to apply for grants in the coming Rotary year, 2027/28, whether district grants, global grants, or other TRF programs. At least one member from your club must attend the Seminar. Please check the details below and enroll accordingly.
District Grants
Clubs that have applied for district grants and received conditional pre-approval are reminded that achieving EREY status by October 31, 2026, is one of the requirements. Please achieve this status by the due date.
Fundraising Target
In this Rotary year, District Governor Jimmy Lau’s goal is to raise a total of US$1,000,000 for the Annual Fund, PolioPlus Fund and Endowment Fund. Rotarians are invited to support this initiative for a good cause to change lives both close to home and around the world. Your donation is significant for our district. Of the amount donated to the Annual Fund, approximately half will return to our district three years later to support our future grant projects. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.
