Dear Fellow Rotarians,
As we stand on the threshold of the new Rotary Year, we reflect on our shared vision to “create lasting impact.” Our primary district mission this year is clear, vital, and achievable: driving membership growth and strengthening member engagement.
To realize this, our district leadership and subcommittee teams have already begun early, robust preparations. True to the Scout motto “be prepared,” District Governor Jimmy Lau, Membership Committee, and our dedicated subcommittees are aligning strategies to help our clubs thrive.
Here are the key initiatives and focus areas for the upcoming year:
Driving Membership Growth & Attraction
- Targeted Orientation: We will increase the frequency of New Member Orientations to four times a year, including a dedicated session in Macau.
- Tailored Experiences: We will structure events differently for new members versus potential members to meet their distinct needs and interests.
- Public Outreach: Look out for two upcoming Rotary Promotion Days and new membership booths at district events designed to capture fresh leads.
- Inspiring Stories: We will invite recently joined Rotarians to share powerful testimonials on how Rotary has positively changed their lives.
Enhancing Engagement & Retention
- Club Insights: We encourage all clubs to utilize the Club Satisfaction Report and Member Exit Report (soon to be simplified and translated into Chinese) to gather honest feedback and improve the fellowship experience.
- Best Practice Sharing: Successful clubs will be invited to share their specific strategies for keeping members actively engaged.
- Reconnecting with Alumni: We are working with the Rotary Information Centre (RIC) to build a comprehensive ex-member database and launch an alumni webpage to keep past members informed and involved.
Incentives & Recognition
To celebrate your hard work and dedication, we are introducing exciting new recognition programs:
- Club Project Incentives: A $5,000 incentive will be awarded for club projects supporting DG Jimmy’s goal of chartering four new clubs.
- Retention Awards: Special recognition will be given to clubs that successfully maintain 100% of their existing members throughout the Rotary Year.
- Monthly Spotlights: We will introduce “President of the Month” and “Rotarian of the Month” awards for outstanding leaders and members from small clubs, to be presented at DMC or JPM.
Our Call to Action
A bigger Rotary means a bigger impact. The sustainable growth of our district relies entirely on excellent service projects, a vibrant public image, strong community relationships, and high member satisfaction.
We encourage every single one of you to act as a Rotary ambassador. Bring passionate, quality professionals and entrepreneurs into our fellowship. 各位扶輪社友：
在全新扶輪年度即將開展之際，我們緊記共同願景：「創造持續影響」。今年地區的首要任務非常明確、至關重要且必定能夠實現，那就是——推動會員增長並深化會員參與度。
為了實現這個目標，地區領導層及各小組委員會早已展開緊密而充足的籌備工作。秉承童軍「準備就緒」的座右銘，地區總監DG Jimmy、地區會員委員會 以及各專責小組正全面整合策略，全力協助各扶輪社蓬勃發展。
以下為來年的核心工作計劃與發展重點：
推動會員增長與吸納
- 定向培訓： 我們將增加「新會員導向演講會」的舉辦次數至每年四次，當中包括在澳門舉行的一場。
- 精準定位： 我們將針對「新晉會員」與「潛在會員」的截然不同的需求與興趣，規劃具針對性的活動。
- 社區接觸： 未來將舉辦兩次「扶輪推廣日」，並於各大地區活動中設立會員招募攤位，以積極開拓新客源。
- 故事分享： 我們將邀請新社友分享真摯故事，講述扶輪如何正面改變他們的人生。
深化參與度與會員留存
- 社務洞察： 我們鼓勵各扶輪社善用「扶輪社滿意度報告」及「退社社會員報告」（相關表格將會簡化並翻譯成中文版本），以收集真實反饋，提升聯誼體驗。
- 經驗共享： 我們將邀請表現傑出的扶輪社分享成功心得，交流如何有效維持社友的活躍度。
- 凝聚校友： 我們正與扶輪資訊中心（RIC）合作建立前會員資料庫，並增設校友網頁，與過往的社友保持緊密聯繫與資訊交流。
獎勵與表彰計劃
為嘉許大家的辛勞付出與無私奉獻，我們將推出全新獎勵計劃：
- 新社創立獎勵： 為配合 DG Jimmy 創立四個新扶輪社的目標，成功協助創社的扶輪社可獲得 $5,000 的服務計劃經費獎勵。
- 會員留存獎： 特別表彰在整個扶輪年度內成功維持 100% 現有會員留存率的扶輪社。
- 每月傑出表揚： 增設「每月優秀社長」及「每月優秀扶輪社友」獎項，以表揚表現傑出的小型扶輪社領導者及社友，獎項將於 DMC 或 JPM 上頒發。
