On the afternoon of July 10, 2026, a 15-member delegation from Rotary International District 3450 visited the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the Macao Special Administrative Region (hereinafter referred to as “the Macao Liaison Office”) and was warmly received by Liu Guanyu, Deputy Director of the Coordination Department of the Macao Liaison Office. The two sides engaged in in-depth exchanges on topics such as national unity, the international dissemination of Chinese culture, the cultivation of values among young people, and a culture of gratitude, in a warm and cordial atmosphere.
The delegation was led by District Governor Jimmy Lau. Members included Past District Governor Eric Chin, District Governor-elect Frank Chan, Area 1 Assistant Governor Cecilia Wong, District Secretary (Area 1) Phoebe Pang, District Secretary (District Governor Support) Brian, Deputy Assistant Governor (Area 1) Stella Chu, as well as presidents of several Rotary clubs in Macao: Jose Alves, President of the Rotary Club of Macau; Mimi, President of Rotary Club of Hou Kuong; Jeffrey, President of the Rotary Club of Macau Central; Marcolino, President of the Rotary Club of Guia; Carlos, President of the Rotary Club of Macau Islands; Scott, President of the Rotary Club of Amizade; Immediate Past President Edmundo of the Rotary Club of Penha, Elaine, President of the Rotary Club of Oriental Pearl. The delegation of 15 people demonstrated the unity and strength of the Macau Rotary community.
During the meeting, both sides focused on discussing how to pool their collective efforts to promote China’s cultural heritage and economic achievements on the international stage. District Governor Jimmy Lao stated that, upholding the spirit of service, Rotary Clubs will align with national priorities in the future, leveraging their international networks to advance cultural exchange, assist local enterprises in expanding into overseas markets, and foster shared economic prosperity.
Regarding youth development, both sides agreed that the shaping of values and a culture of gratitude are the foundations of social harmony. They commended the Rotary Club’s long-standing efforts in Macao to provide scholarships for students, organize leadership training camps, and implement community service programs. They also encouraged further strengthening of education on patriotism and love for Macao in the future, guiding young people to understand the nation’s development journey and fostering a sense of responsibility to give back to society. Past District Governor Eric Chin stated that Rotary Clubs will actively design themed activities centered on “gratitude,” integrating service learning to enable the younger generation to experience the importance of unity and mutual assistance through hands-on practice.
The meeting concluded successfully in a spirit of friendship and mutual understanding. Both sides posed for a group photo and agreed to maintain regular exchanges in the future to follow up on various cooperative initiatives.
國際扶輪3450地區代表團拜訪澳門中聯辦 共商文化推廣與青年培育
國際扶輪3450地區代表團一行15人,於2026年7月10日下午拜訪中央人民政府駐澳門特別行政區聯絡辦公室(下稱「澳門中聯辦」),獲澳門中聯辦協調部副部長劉冠宇親切接見。雙方就國家團結、中華文化國際傳播、青少年價值觀培養及感恩文化等議題進行深入交流,氣氛熱烈融洽。
代表團由國際扶輪3450地區地區總監劉富成率領,成員包括前地區總監錢樹楷、候任總監陳俊禾、地域一助理總監黃杏詩、地域一地區秘書彭小麗、地域一副助理總監崔滿枝,以及澳門多個扶輪社社長:澳門扶輪社社長Jose Alves、濠江扶輪社社長周凱嬣、澳門中區扶輪社社長陳軍、松山扶輪社社長連杰峰、澳門海島扶輪社社長梁俊賢、澳門友誼扶輪社社長黎司銘、澳門西望洋扶輪社卸任社長劉百球、澳門東方明珠扶輪社社長曾蘭,以及總監地區秘書(總監支援)張喬楓。一行共15人,展現澳門扶輪社群的團結力量。
會談中,雙方重點探討如何集眾人之力,在國際間推廣中國文化與經濟發展成果。地區總監劉富成表示,扶輪社秉持服務精神,未來將配合國家方向,透過國際網絡推動文化交流,並協助本地企業拓展海外市場,促進經濟共榮。
對於青少年培育工作,雙方皆認同,價值觀塑造與感恩文化是社會和諧的根基。雙方肯定扶輪社長期在澳門推動的學童獎助學金、領袖訓練營及社區服務計劃,並鼓勵未來進一步強化愛國愛澳教育,引導青年認識國家發展歷程,培養回饋社會的責任感。錢樹楷前總監表示,扶輪社將積極設計以「感恩」為核心的主題活動,結合服務學習,讓年輕一代在實踐中體會團結互助的重要性。
會晤在友好共識中圓滿結束,雙方合影留念,並約定未來定期交流,跟進各項合作計劃。
